Hello, I’m a journalist and writer based in London, UK. I write about culture, nature, music, telly, science, wildlife, the environment, natural history and other stuff. I was Deputy Editor at NME.com until April 2015 and previously worked at The Daily Telegraph as Assistant Comment Editor, Editor of the Culture Blog, and on the news desk. While at the Telegraph, I wrote a music blog from 2008-2012. Other bylines include GQ, Evening Standard, TIME, BBC Earth, BBC Wildlife, The Guardian, New Statesman, The Word (RIP), CBC, ShortList, The Spectator, The Long + Short, Somesuch Stories and commentating on BBC Radio 4 (Woman’s Hour, Today), BBC World Service, 6 Music, Radio 1, VICE, BBC Two, Channel 5 and Channel 4. My favourite interviewees have so far been Björk, Steve Reich and Phil from Radiohead. I started out reporting for the Maidenhead Advertiser and Honduras This Week. I also run Wildlife Daily. My first book, Foxes Unearthed, which won the Society Of Authors’ Roger Deakin Award, was published by Elliott & Thompson in May 2016. For journalism commissions or broadcasting queries, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am represented by Jessica Woollard at the David Higham Agency.
